What an amazing and unique experience this show was! Singers, magicians, and a comedian, all sharing a stage for the night. A good old fashioned variety show, just like your grandparents used to watch on TV.
Pianist RBKeyz joined me for the show, and together we performed a selection of originals and covers, including a couple of brand new songs from our upcoming EP.
Big thanks to my friend Edward Hilsum (who I met at The Big Feastival) who organised the event. He tells me there are plenty more Variety @ UCL shows planned for this year and next, so be sure to go and follow his updates.
Oh, and keep an eye on Katherine Ryan. She’s no stranger to British TV already, having appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats a few times, and I can see why because she’s hilarious.
